Traffic Counting at Port of Oulu Areas in May
The Port of Oulu will carry out traffic counting at the entry routes of Oritkari and Vihreäsaari between 18 May and 31 May 2026. Two counting points will be located in Oritkari and one in Vihreäsaari (as shown on the map).
Traffic counting in the port areas was last conducted in 2018. The purpose of the current survey is to update traffic data for the port areas. The collected vehicle traffic data will be used, among other things, to support traffic planning and land use planning.
The counting measures daily traffic volumes of passenger cars, vans, and heavy vehicles. Only the type of vehicle is identified in the data collection; no other identifying information is collected.
