Improvement Works on Oulu’s Poikkimaantie Continue Between the Port and Terminaalitie

Construction work on the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency’s Road 8155 Poikkimaantie Improvement Project will continue in early August. The next phase of the project will begin at the port end of the construction area.
The extensive road development project, which was launched in 2023, is now entering its second construction phase. This stage includes the construction of a new road section between Terminaalitie and the Port of Oulu.
The project aims to improve traffic flow, safety, and connectivity along this important transport corridor serving the port and surrounding industrial areas.
