Construction of the new crane will start in May

The Port of Oulu’s new crane will arrive in Oulu during May and the construction project will begin in week 18.

An area will be reserved for the construction work at the port to ensure that the work can be carried out as smoothly and safely as possible. The project will cause disruption to operational activities in the main quay. The greatest restrictions will be at the beginning of the project and the restrictions can be reduced as the work progresses.

The attached image shows the area reserved for stacking work. The area will be visibly demarcated. We will update the information as the project progresses.
