Vihreäsaari serves as an import and export harbour for liquid fuels, bitumen, cement and bulk products, i.e., dry bulk cargo such as grain.

Vihreäsaari harbour consists of an Oil Quay and a Bulk Quay.

There are three berths in the harbour, all with a 10.0 m draught.

Smoking and making an open fire is forbidden in the Vihreäsaari harbour area.

Access permits are granted on application by the Port of Oulu Traffic or operators in Vihreäsaari.
