Nuottasaari mainly serves as an import harbour for raw materials for the forest industry, such as carbonate, kaolin, and chemicals.
Nuottasaari harbour consists of the Main Quay and Chemical quays 1 and 2. There are four berths at Nuottasaari, with a draught between 6.4 m and 10.0 m.
Access to Nuottasaari harbour is via the Stora-Enso industrial complex.
